FR (1) The depth of the first useable [[reading]] or value recorded on a [[curve]] at the onset of the [[survey]].
(2) Usually the depth in the hole of the deepest reading for any given curve normally recorded in the bottom-to-top direction. See also [[pick up|pick-up]].
