LR. (1) Refers to the depth of the last useable [[reading]] or value recorded on a [[curve]] at the completion of the [[survey]].

(2) Usually the depth in the hole of the shallowest reading for any given curve normally recorded in the bottom-to-top direction. Often coincides with casing depth for open-hole logging operations.
