(1) Log tail. A short form appended to the [[well log]], containing vital information to identify the well and [[curve]] scales.

(2) [[Calibration tail]]. An appendage to the well log which contains all recorded [[calibration]] information for the [[survey]].

(3) Any other appended information or record (e.g., [[repeat section]]).
