SPWLA Glossary

An acoustic wave train display mode. A trace of the acoustic wave train in the X-Y plane in which the amplitude of each point on the wave train is represented as a function of time. See acoustic log. Compare intensity modulated-time or variable density. See illustration at wave train display.
