A light hydrocarbon liquid obtained by condensation of hydrocarbon vapors. It consists of varying proportions of butane, propane, pentane, and heavier fractions, with little or no ethane or methane. Condensate generally has an API gravity of 50 to 120 degrees and is water-white, straw or bluish in color.
