A focused resistivity log recorded from a pad which contains a small button electrode surrounded by a guarding electrode and which is forced against the side of the bore hole. The current from the button electrode is forced to flow out into the first few inches of the formation, which would be the Rxo zone in a permeable formation. FoRxo is a Welex trademark.
