An articulating, liquid-filled pad used to place current and measure electrodes in direct contact with the drilled formation wall. Used on microresistivity devices (i.e., microlog, microlaterolog, etc.). The liquid-filled pad allows better electrode contact by improving pad conformity with the wall.
