LR. (1) Refers to the depth of the last useable reading or value recorded on a curve at the completion of the survey.
(2) Usually the depth in the hole of the shallowest reading for any given curve normally recorded in the bottom-to-top direction. Often coincides with casing depth for open-hole logging operations.
